Another busy week! This week I had the privilege of joining the press team during a press address by the Senator. With the concern of the Russian invasion of Ukraine the Senator wanted to advocate on behalf of the state to open more energy opportunities. Getting to watch how Senator’s use media and communication to reach constituents is incredibly interesting as these prestigious offices often feel so very removed from the very people they represent so communication is crucial to help with awareness and support. And every senator has a different method to connect with their audience. It was an excellent example of how senators represent their constituents.
Beyond “the hill”, I also had guests this week! My parents came for a visit so we drove up to Baltimore for a day, what a difference between the two cities! I enjoyed the historical parts of the city and enjoyed seeing another East Coast city! Until next time, stay well!
